The New Age Salon story is one of graceful transformation and good old-fashioned elbow grease. Our journey has been shaped by our innovative stylist and diverse clientele, who together, have helped NAS grow from humble beginnings in a petite location on Hertel Avenue, to Buffalo’s urban sanctuary for progressive and edgy hairstyling.

For more than 20 years, NAS has been lovingly cultivated by owner and head-stylist, Amanda Robinson. Beginning as a creative young entrepreneur, operating out of a tiny single-storefront in 2001, Amanda devoted the next few years to building the salon into a thriving independent owner/operated business.

In 2010 Amanda built her dream salon located a block from the original space to continue the growth of the salon and well as align with the renaissance taking place on Hertel Avenue. As NAS has steadily grown and evolved, the salon has come to include a vast menu of salon services, a beautiful product boutique and a forward-thinking disposition in the area of product knowledge – all of which have contributed to the salon’s reputation for having the freshest ideas and techniques in progressive cutting and coloring.

Our talented stylist is known for her ability to create exceptional styles for a diverse audience – from classic to ultra-modern, from sleek precision styles to freestyle. Our aim is to approach hairstyling from a place of passion and creativity, turning even the simplest of cuts into hair-artistry. The love for what we do (and our fantastic sense of humor) adds to the light-hearted and playful energy that permeates the salon each day. This unique environment is one that both our staff and our clients look forward to. Along with our product boutique including the entire exclusive Italian color and product by Davines.
